  • Bring in branches of Saucer Magnolia, Flowering Crabapple, Flowering Peach and other blooming trees indoors, crush the bottom end with a hammer and set in water for forced early blooming.
  • Plant the following veggies now: Beets, Broccoli, Cabbage Carrot, Chard, Collards, Endive, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leek, Lettuce (head & Leaf), Mustard, Parsley, Parsnip, Peas (garden), Potatoes, Radishes, Spinach, Shallot & Turnip. Select the best varieties for our area!
  • Spray or dust your cabbage and broccoli with Dipel (a.k.a. Thuricide & B.T.) to safely control loopers.
  • If you haven't already, put out a bird feeder, and don't forget the suet!
